Episode 201: An Obal for Charon Discovery S2E4

Jen The Klingon Pop Warrior joins Holly, Aaron and David this week to discuss the latest Star Trek Discovery Episode An Obal for Charon! Since this week didn’t really feature the klingons we ask Jen about her thoughts about last week’s episode Point of Light. She also tells us about her experience on the Star Trek Cruise. In this week’s episode we have a strange life form that traps the Discovery, we learn a little bit more about the spore May and we also get some Michael and Saru bonding time. Remember spoilers abound for An Obal for Charon please watch the episode before listening if you are sensitive to spoilers.

Phillip Malerich joins Holly, Aaron, and David to discuss Star Trek Discovery episode three, Point of Light. Before we get into full spoilers for Point of Light we discuss the Anson Mount Tweet about he and Ethan Peck are looking for work. We mention our theory that Discovery will have revolving captains each season. Even if that isn’t the case. Discovery is between seasons and the actors could use some work between seasons. It’s our 200th episode and we go long this week’s episode with Ash/Voq, the klingons, Georgiou and Section 31 all making a comeback this week. We hope this week isn’t a one off and that it really is setting up the remainder of the season. Discovery season two continues to delight with call back to Star Trek 6 and to The Next Generation. Break out the bloodwine it’s time for your weekly shot of Star Trek!

The klingons are winning the war, the federation has lost one third of its fleet. So now in the federations most desperate hour it’s time to play mushroom farmville. Discovery needs it’s spores to go on an insane mission in next week’s season finale of Star Trek Discovery! Oh and uh Dude where’s my Red matter?
