All joking aside, The Visitor is a Deep Space Nine episode that covers death and coping with the loss of a parent, time travel, a stalker, a message about remembering to live your life, and then more death and time travel! We have a special clip for you this week, as David had the privilege of not only hosting a panel for Tony Todd at Nickel City Con in Buffalo NY, but Tony graciously agreed to an interview for the podcast and gave us his personal account on the episode, and shed some more light on the Axanar drama. David is still recuperating from his frolicking on Pandora, so this week it’s just Aaron and Holly trying to wrap their heads around the Trolly Dilemma… sort of. Tuvix is a Voyager episode where Tuvok and Neelix are morphed into one being due to a breed of orchid being present in the transporter beam while the two are beaming back to the ship. There is much to chuckle about throughout this episode, even if it essentially ends in murder -”Give and Take” am I right? So grab a drink or just kick up your feet, and appreciate the fact that you have better friends than Tuvix has. Well… had. #JusticeForTuvix

Aaron is back this week with Holly and David to discuss both parts of The Menagerie the Star Trek Original series two part episode. With Captain Pike being all the rage after Star Trek Discovery’s second season we thought we would go back to where Spock decides to take after his sister and stage a mutiny. Spock does this to help his former captain live a better life since his unfortunate radiation bath he had on a Crossfield class starship filled with clueless cadets. We discuss our thoughts on this classic two part episode as well as how we feel about it now within the larger context of discovery and knowing the character of captain pike so much better then we did before. Pour yourself a big stiff drink things are about to get silly on your weekly shot of Star Trek.

We are making it a tradition to have Trekyards join us for our yearly postseason Star Trek Discovery round table discussion. Unfortunately the red angels have captured Aaron to do unspeakable things to him 950 years in the future. We discuss our thoughts on Discovery with two whole seasons under our belts with some of our highs and lows of the season. We also get into some light speculation on what could be coming in season three of Star Trek Discovery. Samuel has some times to fan films and so we talk about fan films and how the guidelines have been affecting them. Pour yourself a drink it’s time for your weekly shot of sci-fi.

If Memory Serves is the mother of all call back episodes reaching far back to the unaired pilot The Cage. Before we get into the episode Stuart lets us know what’s new with Trekyards and we discuss some news we forgot to mention last week. This week Michael and Spock head to Talos IV and meet Vina and the Talosians. Section 31 tries to keep Discovery from meeting up with Spock and Michael and when everything is said and done the crew of the USS Discovery is now on the run. We also discuss Talosian retirement and the founding of Risa! Get ready for a mind trip, grab yourself some everclear because it’s time for your weekly shot of Star Trek!

Pete Herr of The Geekiverse joins Aaron and David today to talk The Sounds of Thunder, Star Trek Discovery’s sixth episode of season two. Unfortunately Holly was abducted by the Red Angel this week she’ll have to tell us how that was once we get her back! Not much going this week in news except for the sad news of Star Trek actor Morgan Woodward passing away at the age of 93. This week the crew of the Discovery heads to Kamanar after a Red Angel sighting. The Ba’ul the predator race on Kamanar don’t like to talk to outsiders but Saru and his sister get an intimate meeting with one of the Ba’ul. After this meeting Saru gives us our best look at the Red Angel yet! Who could it be? Pour yourself a glass of Ba’ul Kamanar famous Kelpian Whiskey it’s time for your weekly shot of Star Trek!
