This week there is some light news about the new Picard show, Patrick Stewart has red the script he is said to of enjoyed it and shooting for the show starts in April. In this episode we find out who the red angel is….. Or do we? Or is the switcharoo a red herring. I guess we fill find out next week? Unfortunately Guy is here for another exposition episode instead of a more plot heavy episode. In this episode section 31 comes to hang out with Discovery to try to capture the red angel. They need to set a mousetrap where Michael is the bait to catch herself maybe? What do you think Red Angels like to drink? Captain Stuart Foley from Trekyards joins Aaron and David this week to discuss If Memory Serves the latest episode of the second season of Star Trek Discovery. If Memory Serves is the mother of all call back episodes reaching far back to the unaired pilot The Cage. Before we get into the episode Stuart lets us know what’s new with Trekyards and we discuss some news we forgot to mention last week. This week Michael and Spock head to Talos IV and meet Vina and the Talosians. Section 31 tries to keep Discovery from meeting up with Spock and Michael and when everything is said and done the crew of the USS Discovery is now on the run. We also discuss Talosian retirement and the founding of Risa! Get ready for a mind trip, grab yourself some everclear because it’s time for your weekly shot of Star Trek!

The descriptions of the characters remind Aaron and David of the Star Trek Renegades fan film. This week’s episode splits the party with Michael going looking for spock while the crew of the Discovery deals with a temporal anomaly. This episode is a great set up for what is to come. We also recall how some of us couldn’t watch certain shows on Nickelodeon or were prohibited from watching the channel at all! This week we still don’t get any Spock but we do get Section 31 and Admiral Cornwell makes her first appearance in season two this week. Phillip Malerich joins Holly, Aaron, and David to discuss Star Trek Discovery episode three, Point of Light. Before we get into full spoilers for Point of Light we discuss the Anson Mount Tweet about he and Ethan Peck are looking for work. We mention our theory that Discovery will have revolving captains each season. Even if that isn’t the case. Discovery is between seasons and the actors could use some work between seasons. It’s our 200th episode and we go long this week’s episode with Ash/Voq, the klingons, Georgiou and Section 31 all making a comeback this week. We hope this week isn’t a one off and that it really is setting up the remainder of the season. Discovery season two continues to delight with call back to Star Trek 6 and to The Next Generation.
