Aaron and David bravely decide to continue on with the Enterprise season 3 arc with the second episode, Anomaly. In retrospect it may have been a bad idea to not wait a year before getting back into Enterprise. Sigmund Freud makes his not so grand return as David is not able to keep a single ascent going to save his life. Archer runs around like a man man trying to do the Janeway torture to a prisoner they take. Archer may even go so far as to feast on the dead and bathe in the blood of his enemies. Will he stoop to such levels so quickly? Find out on your week shot of Star Trek!
Aaron and David dive back into Enterprise to discuss the Xindai after almost a year since our last Enterprise discussion. The Xindi is the first episode of Season 3 of Enterprise the beginning the love it or hate it Xindi story arc. This episode is brought to you by Sigmund Freud and the gift that keeps on giving diabetes, just kidding we have no sponsors. But what we do have is a pretty sexy episode of Enterprise after our heroes wade through at least 31 kinds of alien waste. Make a pit stop at Baskin-Robbins and the liquor store it’s time for your weekly shot of Star Trek.
This week the Synthaholics get Loaded, and no one can seem to agree whether there is a Matrix within a Matrix, or if Neo simply has a unique connection to the A.I who enslaved all of humanity. While there are far less rabbit holes in this episode, this weeks’ episode is a bit on the longer side -much like a few of the sequences in The Matrix Reloaded! This film is packed with action and intrigue and we are all looking forward to see what is next for Neo and the team! So Jack-in, find yourself a Jack’n’Coke, and traverse The Wachowski’s imaginary world that influenced so much of pop culture and film. And please… if you’re gonna Jack Off, keep it to yourself and don’t do it on our exit!
Phillip Malerich joins Aaron and David to discuss Such Sweet Sorrow Part 2 the season finale of Star Trek Discovery Season 2. Holly was once again was abducted by the Red Angels so she was unable to participate in the discussion this week. Most of the Star Trek news this week is related to the ending of Such Sweet Sorrow so we wait to the end of the episode to discuss this week’s news. Beware this episode contains full spoilers for Such Sweet Sorrow Part 2 and the second season of Star Trek Discovery Season 2. On many levels this episode is pretty much what we expected it to be. The biggest surprise to us was the lack of any real clear cliffhanger. The ending also felt like a great opener for a Captain Pike and Number One seres. This is something we discuss after we talk about our thoughts on the Second Season of Star Trek Discovery. I wonder what alcoholic drinks Kelpian X-wing pilots enjoy? If you have any ideas let us know, it’s time for your weekly shot of Star Trek!
Aaron, Holly, and David are all together to discuss Such Sweet Sorrow the second to last episode of the second season of Star Trek Discovery. Much like season one of Star Trek Discovery this episode does a lot to set up what will happen in the finale while withholding all the action for the finale. Even though this is the case it is an episode full of character moments for character other than Michael and we get a great look at the updated Enterprise bridge and it is a truly beautiful sight to behold.
We are all looking forward to see next week’s episode to see how the wrap up the season. There are a ton of possibilities many of which could be very exciting. Once we finish the episode discussion we have a bit of a PSA at the end to clarify our thoughts on Star Trek and Discovery as a whole. Break out your finest wine and have a toast for parting is such sweet sorrow. It’s time for your weekly shot of Star Trek!

In this episode we find out who the red angel is….. Or do we? Or is the switcharoo a red herring. I guess we fill find out next week? Unfortunately Guy is here for another exposition episode instead of a more plot heavy episode. In this episode section 31 comes to hang out with Discovery to try to capture the red angel. They need to set a mousetrap where Michael is the bait to catch herself maybe? What do you think Red Angels like to drink? Break out whatever you think that might be it’s time for your weekly shot or Star Trek!
Guy Davis is back, he joins Holly, Aaron, and David to discuss Light and Shadows the seventh episode of the second season of Star Trek Discovery. Before we take our deep drive into the episode we have news regarding the character descriptions of the new characters appearing in the Picard show. The descriptions of the characters remind Aaron and David of the Star Trek Renegades fan film. This week’s episode splits the party with Michael going looking for spock while the crew of the Discovery deals with a temporal anomaly. This episode is a great set up for what is to come. Some of us enjoyed Light and Shadows and some of didn’t care for it as much. Pour yourself some of your finest futures liquor it’s time for your weekly shot of Star Trek
